Thermal Hair Straightening
There are two different processes in hair straightening:
Cold Process does not need to use flat iron, while you need one to do thermal hair straightening.
Of course, it does cost more to do thermal hair straightening because, we could use the flat iron for more or less 90 minutes, depending of thickness of hair, porosity, elasticity and density. By the way, did you know that blondes do have more hair than brunettes and red heads.
Your hair must be in excellent condition to perform this chemical service.

Depending on the length of your hair, this chemical service could take up to eight hours. So bring your lunch to the salon!
There are different steps and processing time for chemically and non chemically treated hair.
Mainly, we must apply the Thio cream (same chemical as the perm, which is the reversed process). Cream must be applied in following manufacturer instructions and techniques. There is a maximum processing time for the Thio, testing every 5 minutes (unfortunately, there is a strong smell) . Then rinsing in keeping hair straight as possible. Towel dry the hair, then flatironing each strand ( 20 % humidity in each one ) until it shines. Apply the neutralizer that looks the hair straight and remove the alcalinity of Thio hair relaxer cream. Follow manufacturer instructions for timing and rinse it. Towel dry and you might have either a conditioner treatment or leave in treatment.
So now you should be happy to see your hair straight.
